Join us at the Harold Washington Library, Cindy Pritzker Auditorium on Sunday, July 14 at 1PM for an afternoon centered around the #MSNBC Chief Correspondent’s recent book "Small Acts of Courage: A Legacy of Endurance and the Fight for democracy." We'll start the afternoon with a reception from 1-2PM, followed by an address from Velshi and a panel discussion with Ali Velshi, Jennifer Maddox, Damien Morris, and Marvin Tate, moderated by Santita Jackson! In addition to our annual ritual, the Sunset Collective hopes to add a permanent mural, establishing that space as “Eugene Williams Memorial Square.” This year, 3Arts Artists and #EnsembleMembers Kareem Bandealy and J. Nicole Brooks have launched a 3AP fundraiser to support:   - A pay raise for all artist-participants  - An ADA-accessible portable restroom - The hiring of a shuttle service to transport participants and make Eugene Williams Memorial Square accessible to all - Much more!
