Steppenwolf Theatre Company is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Rental and Events Manager. This role is an essential part of the Executive team and supports the entire organization. The Rental and Events Manager serves as the operational point person for all meetings and events on the Steppenwolf campus and works with the Development team to execute logistical support for marquee donor events, including the annual Gala Benefit, opening nights, and other fundraising events. The Accounting Manager supports the business office through managing the accounts and pledge receivables function, leading the month-end close process, including bank and investment account reconciliation, and reinforcing account analysis and outside reporting needs. The position requires a high level of communication and coordination with constituents as well as the ability to conduct research into accounting policies and standards as needed.
