As we gear up for Game 4 tonight, there’s no denying the Dodgers' incredible magnetism in drawing fans from around the globe. With superstars like Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, we’ve seen a remarkable influx of visitors from Japan this year, contributing to LA’s post-pandemic tourism recovery. Visitor numbers from Japan alone have surged by 90%, with nearly 80-90% attending a Dodgers game during their stay. The Dodgers’ influence reaches far beyond the field—touching culture and communities across every neighborhood. We’re grateful for the teams, Angelenos, and the tourism community that continue to uplift and shine a spotlight on our city. Thanks for having us yesterday, CNN. Here’s to Game 4 and the Los Angeles Dodgers—Let’s go, Blue!

Today, we are recognizing and celebrating the Indigenous peoples' rich heritage, diverse cultures, and significant contributions to Los Angeles and beyond. Did you know that Los Angeles County is home to more Native Americans and Alaskan Natives than any other County in the United States? How can you honor Indigenous cultures here in the LA area? Here are a few ideas ahead of Indigenous Peoples' Day. 1. Visit the Autry Museum of the American West 2. Explore Tongva Park in Santa Monica 3. Support Native-owned LA-based businesses like Urban Native Era and B.YELLOWTAIL As we continue to promote tourism to the Los Angeles area, we also commit to amplifying underrepresented voices, preserving diverse cultural heritages, and fostering inclusive tourism initiatives that reflect our city's rich tapestry of communities.
