Storytelling 101 basically says that to be successful, brands should position themselves as "the guide" who shows up to help their audience, who is "the hero" in the story. I don't disagree that it works, but I do think there's a more artistic way to build a brand narrative. Brands that build in public not only don't have to play the "what should I post" content game, but they build communities that want them to win. Let’s recap… Newtopia Now was a success. My choice for best bite in show is Lottie's Meats. Launched by two twenty-something 6th generation hog farming sisters, Lottie’s is premiumizing pork products and delivering more flavor and protein per bite. The bratwurst I sampled immediately rendered all other bratwursts I’ve ever scarfed down as inferior. Really excited to watch this brand kick ass. Huge congratulations to the New Hope Network team for pulling off a great inaugural show. Newtopia was predicated on delivering high-quality connections and it delivered. I’ll be back next year. Thanks to so many of our members at The Angel Group who came out in full force and spent quality time together.
