The city never looked better — and not just to the “never beens” — but to all of those who stayed & worked & lived. It was a moment we will never forget. From all of the thrilled thousands - yes 775,000 - but all the broadcast who couldn’t say enough good things about our town and our people. So thank you: volunteers, City of Detroit, Detroit Sports Commission, Visit Detroit, and our Detroit Police Department. For all the believing, the work and the shoe leather.
