About us

*** DEFINING OUR MULTI-PLANETARY FUTURE, TOGETHER *** We are uniting a diverse representation of humans—across borders, cultures, generations and backgrounds—to collaborate and create a better future for all through space exploration. In a world where space exploration seems confined to the elite, we dare to dream differently. We envision a future where the voices of every person, regardless of background, shape humanity's destiny beyond Earth. Now is the time to forge a path to the stars that is inclusive, diverse, and inspiring. Over the next 15 years, we're embarking on an ambitious journey, blending projects on Earth with regular lunar excursions to establish the LUNAR UNIVERSITY - the first learning institution on the Moon. LifeShip is a proud partner in The Museum of Ideas. We're launching a gallery of visionary thinkers to the Moon! What began as an inspiring conversation between The Museum of Ideas founder, Shannon Mullen O'Keefe and LifeShip’s founder, Ben Haldeman, has grown into a partnership that amplifies ideas shaping humanity’s future. This is a collaboration built on shared vision, innovation, and the belief in preserving the essence of human thought for eternity. In January 2024, Ben and Shannon met at the World Economic Forum in #Davos, sparking an inspiring conversation on a walk through the snow that soon evolved into a visionary collaboration. What began as a simple idea has grown into a cosmic partnership where a gallery of humanity’s most profound ideas will be sent to the Moon and beyond. This collaboration brings together fifty remarkable innovators, including Alexander Rose of The Long Now Foundation, Frank White, the author of #TheOverviewEffect, artists Amy Karle and Richelle Ellis, Nova Spivack of the Arch Mission Foundation, space visionary S. Pete Worden, and Jane Metcalfe, the founder of proto.life and #WIREDmagazine. Their reflections on everything from humanity’s place in the cosmos to the future of technology form the initial gallery of this unique cosmic archive, marking the start of something truly monumental. The Museum of Ideas and LifeShip have come together to preserve and spread the thoughts of today’s leaders in a way that transcends time and space, and we can’t wait to see how this idea blossoms. This project is an exciting example of using LifeShip as a platform to launch your ideas. LifeShip is about enabling anyone to build a visionary project. With LifeShip, anyone can launch a space mission, grow a space community, or be a founder of a space company. This collaboration shows how space is now for anyone and how LifeShip can be the foundation for you to reach for the stars. 💡 What idea do you want to launch? 🚀 💫 Let's go. There’s no joy in chasing the stars if we ignore the pain on Earth. Every leap in science and space means little if it doesn’t uplift those most in need. Through our partnership with Voyaj, LunARC is challenging the future of space exploration to serve a higher purpose—one where the voices of refugees and the forgotten are heard. This is more than a mission; it’s a moral imperative.

Thousands of children from #India Join LunARC’s First Lunar Mission!! 🚀✨ LunARC is thrilled to announce our groundbreaking partnership with Pratham Education Foundation, one of India's largest educational NGOs, as we embark on our first lunar mission to establish the #LunarCommunityArtGallery! 🌕🎨 Through this collaboration, children from Pratham's programs will become a part of history, showing the world that - Inspiration begins with role modeling, and role modeling begins with #inclusion. The power of role models to inspire cannot be overstated. By involving these bright young minds from Pratham, we are not just sending art to the moon; we are sending a powerful message. We are showing these children—and the world—that no dream is too big, and no background is too humble. When these children see themselves as part of a historic lunar mission, they are empowered to believe that the universe belongs to everyone, and that they, too, have a role to play in shaping the future. We hope that these students will one day help build and participate in the #LunarUniversity, the first educational institution on another celestial body. This initiative will be a beacon of knowledge, creativity, and hope, uniting global efforts in space exploration and education. 🌌🌍 Please spread this inspiring video and join us in celebrating and honoring the children who've dared to dream big! 🌠 Thanks to the Pratham India Team for their efforts to reach children in thousands of villages across India! 🌍 Who do you think of when it comes to lunar missions? 🌒 ------------------------------------------------------------- If we ask about the nations shaping the future of space, countries like the USA, Russia, China, and Europe might spring to mind. But at LunARC, we believe that the moon and beyond should be a canvas where every nation leaves its mark, not just the usual suspects. 🚀 We are leading the charge to shift this paradigm. In our Lunar Mission #1: The Lunar Community Art Gallery, we’re making space for voices that often go unheard. Citizens from -- Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Cambodia, Colombia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, Jamaica, Kenya, Lebanon, Mauritius, Mongolia, Morocco, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Paraguay, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Syria, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Palestine, Tanzania, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Mexico, Philippines, Poland, Serbia, and South Africa -- will actively participate alongside their counterparts from traditionally space-faring nations. 🌟 Inclusion isn’t just a buzzword at LunARC—it’s a commitment. We’re not just opening doors; we’re ensuring that those who may feel they lack the resources or privileges to participate in space conversations see and feel their contributions in action. We understand that true empowerment in space exploration starts with role modeling and showing what’s possible. By broadening the conversation and inviting everyone to the table or spacecraft 🛸, LunARC is proving that space is for all. Because the future of space, and its impact on Earth, should be shaped by the diversity of perspectives that make our world vibrant. Let’s build a lunar legacy together. 🌍🚀 #LeadByExample #Inclusion #LunarMission #SpaceForAll #LunARC #DiversityInSpace #Empowerment #GlobalCollaboration #LunarUniversity
