Did you know Snoopy is a space enthusiast? 🚀 Since the #Apollo era, Snoopy has been a beloved figure at NASA, starring in the “Snoopy on the Moon” comic strips to share excitement about space exploration. The Apollo 10 lunar module was even nicknamed “Snoopy” because it was tasked with “snooping” out the future landing site for Apollo 11. Bees in space? 🐝 Yep! On June 29, 2018, a box of live #bees launched to the #ISS on the SpaceX CRS-15 mission through the HIGHER ORBITS FOUNDATION #GoForLaunch program. Onboard the #ISS, NASA astronaut Jeanette Epps works with a pair of #Astrobee free-flyers using #CLINGERS technology.
