It is the largest German state by land area and has over 13 million inhabitants. With a gross national product of EUR 716.8 billion (2022), Bavaria's economy ranks seventh within the EU. Bavaria is also one of Europe’s most popular and scenic travel destinations, with spectacular mountains and magnificent castles that represent its rich history and cultural heritage. New requirements for water use permits and penalties for pollution are driving businesses to adopt more responsible practices and invest in water-saving technologies.   ♻️ The 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 & 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 introduces tougher standards for water supply and wastewater treatment, presenting challenges for compliance while also opening opportunities for innovation in areas like water recycling and treatment solutions that align with global sustainability trends.   🤝Despite this positive trend, Vietnam faces several major challenges, for example in the area of infrastructure development and financing for green and sustainable projects. This formative trip to Vietnam was hosted by the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi and included a visit to Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City (official). These amendments are designed to bolster drug distribution, emergency preparedness, and innovation in pharmaceuticals. By encouraging foreign investment and improving emergency drug production, Vietnam aims to position itself as a regional hub for pharmaceuticals. Companies in this sector should be prepared for new compliance requirements as these changes come into effect. 🔶 New Law on Water Resources: In response to increasing concerns about water scarcity and environmental sustainability, Vietnam has introduced a new Law on Water Resources, effective July 2024. This law imposes stricter controls on water usage, mandates sustainable practices, and promotes investments in circular water systems.
