👋 to my fellow PR pros using AI. I joined Muck Rack’s webinar on the state of AI in PR, where Joseph Campbell, Kristin Stiles, Sarah Vasquez, and Dan Patterson dropped some serious insights. With 75% of PR pros using AI, the question isn’t if, it’s how. And while we're quick to adapt early, we’re all still figuring out how to balance adoption with responsible use. Here’s what stuck with me: 🔹Drop the guilt. Instead of asking “Should I use this?” focus on “How should I use it?” If you’re outsourcing something you couldn’t do yourself, that’s a red flag. 🔹Experimentation is key. The best way to learn AI? Play with it. Test tools, watch tutorials, and integrate it in low-stakes ways. 🔹Guidelines matter, but conversations matter more. Policies set the rules, but open discussions ensure responsible use. 🔹Don’t just delegate – educate. AI policies mean nothing without ongoing training and space for questions. 🔹AI works for you, not the other way around. It should enhance, not replace, human creativity. Think brainstorming partner, not shortcut. AI is already reshaping PR. The challenge now?
