Nigeria The The World Bank is an international financial institution that provides loans and grants to the governments of low- and middle-income countries for the purposes of economic development. The World Bank is the collective name for the International Bank For Reconstruction & Development (IBRD) and International Development Association (IDA), two of five international organizations owned by the World Bank Group. It was established along with the International Monetary Fund at the 1944 Bretton Woods Conference. In Abuja, Nigeria, ATO Architects Limited in collaboration with Manning has designed a 16,000 square foot building for the World Bank's campus. The new facility aims to enhance capabilities with administrative space, a video conferencing center, a café, and flexible areas for staff and visitors' well-being. The four-story structure will connect to the Administration Building via an upper-level bridge, with a multi-level underground parking garage for the campus. The building's design prioritizes sustainability by incorporating solar power to supplement electricity, with a focus on achieving LEED Gold, WELL, and EDGE certifications. Manning, APC is proud to announce the opening of the Claudette B. Fennidy Splash Pad at Johnny Jacobs Playground in Marrero, LA. Named after the beloved community leader who dedicated her life to early childhood education, this project is part of a broader initiative in partnership with Councilmember Byron Lee to bring new community amenities to Jefferson Parish.  The Splash Pad is the first phase of a development plan aimed at fostering health, wellness, and recreation.
