About us
Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is the only pediatric hospital in the South Sound dedicated to caring for the special health needs of the children. From open-heart surgery to asthma treatment, cancer care to diabetes, Mary Bridge specializes in advanced care for children. At Mary Bridge, we offer specialized pediatric care, equipment and facilities that aren't available in most communities. When a child receives care at Mary Bridge, our specialists work closely with local pediatricians or primary care providers, making sure children receive the care they need. With its family-centered care philosophy, Mary Bridge provides services and accommodations for families in a child-friendly environment — a place where kids get better quicker.

Mary Bridge Children’s is celebrating 45 years of the Child Life program. Our Child Life Services team translates each hospital experience into kid-friendly language that helps children build confidence, find coping skills and feel empowered in their care. They ensure that kids have room to continue being kids— and that no child faces any part of their medical journey alone.

It's fun when my worlds collide. My daughter is in her first year of 4-H and these amazing kids made pillowcases to donate to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. I'm excited to see their masterpieces in patient rooms in the coming weeks. 😴 And my son is a self-described Kid-Nurse-Doctor and just may work at this marvelous place someday. 🥰

Happy Valentine's Day! 💘 Ollie (10 years old) and his family have been bringing balloons to Mary Bridge Children's since he was an infant in the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit). It's an important and fun tradition for their family and for all of us at Mary Bridge Children's. This year, they brought 60 balloons to distribute to kids on our inpatient floors. Thank you to Ollie for spreading love and joy at Mary Bridge Children's today.

Thank you to members of the Westgate Guild for bringing the warm fuzzies to Mary Bridge Hospital today. 🧸 Mary Bridge Brigade’s Westgate Guild carried on their 15th annual Valentine Build-A-Bear Workshop tradition of donating stuffed animals to our young patients. An additional thank you to the retired teachers of Mason County for their donation. Pictured is Lily receiving Strawberry, a pink axolotl, and Alasia with her new cat stuffy.
