We had a full house this week with the PCI-Masthead Rigging Workshop! Attendees from Performance Contracting, Inc. (PCI) learned from our top experts about our extensive rigging and crating services. The workshop covered project successes and challenges, how to train experts from the ground up, and best practices with several live demonstrations. “The value of the Rigging Workshop is to show all the folks in our branches the different product lines Masthead can assist with, from heavy moving to machinery moving to precision leveling,” said Jeremy Sisneros, Senior Project Manager. Our team recently completed the complex task of relocating the one-of-a-kind "Dream of Flight" sculpture at the Albuquerque International Sunport airport. Utilizing hydro gantries, they carefully removed it from its original position, placed it on a custom-fabricated cart from the Masthead shop, and transported it to its new location. After re-rigging, they successfully secured the sculpture. A huge shoutout to Dominic Archuleta, Tom Pocze, and Jesus Cervantes for their meticulous planning, and to Julian Arriola, Victor Montes, Dominic, Tom, and the entire crew for their outstanding execution.
