Exciting to see new seed funding: 'MattoBoard, the makers of web-based software designed to simplify the creative process for interior designers and architects, is getting into AI. On Tuesday, the startup announced its $2 million seed funding round, which will support the launch of a new feature called Design Stream, an AI-driven visual search and discovery tool.' 🎨 A&D wastes 40% of their time searching for product + material 🎨 Product curation in the interiors industry is outdated, and waiting for samples slows down the creative process 🎨 Designers over-order samples contributing to 92M tons of annual waste in the textile industry 🎨 AI is a tool that boosts efficiency, helping designers communicate projects to teams and clients Imagine if digital printing technology was part of this workflow? Tools like MattoBoard and AI would be even more valuable if product curation were part of the value-mix. I remember when digital print gained popularity in 2015, enabling wallpaper and fabric applications, it created a buzz across the industry.
