This week, McKinstry teams across the country came together to celebrate Women in Construction Week and International Women's Day. As part of the celebration, teams gathered for special screenings of Women of Carbon — a documentary spotlighting women driving decarbonization in the built environment. In Seattle, the event featured a panel discussion moderated by McKinstry’s Caroline Traube, PE, Principal & Director of Zero+ Decarbonization Planning, with three leaders helping shaping sustainability in the built environment: - Anita Jeerage, Unico Properties - Jennifer Knauer, King County Metro Transit - Sylvia Derrick James, UW Tacoma Aligned with our commitment to sustainability, we also made the event zero waste by partnering with Bold Reuse, a local woman-owned business to leverage reusables instead of disposables. #WICWeek #WICWeek25 #InternationalWomensDay #IWD #IWD2025
