𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 An exciting topic that I was able to discuss with the session participants as host of 𝐭𝐡𝐞 2𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦, organized in the form of a bar camp by 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬' 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐆𝐕 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐝 in Dockland in Hamburg. It was once again a valuable networking event with plenty of input and exchange on other current topics in subsequent sessions. Mobility is a location factor; it is individual and extremely flexible, increasingly on-demand, increasingly uses sharing concepts, is partially or fully autonomous, is sustainable and decarbonized, and is characterized by short waiting, travel, and transport times. A basic prerequisite for the mobility of the future is a high degree of digitalization and secure and rapid data exchange. In addition to efficient public transport, the mobility of the future also requires 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭. The same naturally applies to the transport and logistics of goods. I found public transport in Hamburg to be efficient: fast, easy, and well-explained! Traveling by ICE train, on the other hand, was arduous. Efficient public transport by road and rail won't be possible anytime soon, due to high investment costs and time constraints. 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥-𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐌𝐃𝐀1 𝐄𝐕𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. This will quickly bring the mobility of the future to the region at existing airports and enable new travel concepts with short waiting, travel, and transport times.
