More than 200 volunteers and staff joined the County for our annual Point-in-Time Count this morning. It's a one-night survey of those experiencing sheltered or unsheltered homelessness in the County. The information gathered informs local decision-making in the work to end and prevent homelessness. These volunteers checked streets, parking lots, encampments, parks and other spots around our community. They also handed out food, sleeping bags, blankets and other winter-related supplies. We're thankful for our many partners who work together throughout the year to support our unsheltered neighbors.
