Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year for the Jews and focuses on atonement and repentance. Jews traditionally observe this holy day with a 25-hour period, which includes fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services. All are welcome to attend.  Family mediation focuses on helping divorced or separated parents, and their children, find relief from conflict, stress, and anger. Volunteering as a family mediator helps to provide a safe space for co-parents to make decisions about their relationship with each other and to discuss their responsibilities to their children – in a more cooperative setting than going to court.
