Les Rencontres Méditerranéennes, c'est : 🔗 La mise en réseau avec des structures paires pour partager des bonnes pratiques et des expériences. 🤝 La rencontre avec des partenaires techniques et financiers, favorisant ainsi des collaborations fructueuses. En début d'après-midi, le forum des associations a permis d'en savoir plus sur l'écosystème tunisien et de découvrir les initiatives locales qui soutiennent les jeunes dans divers domaines, notamment l'art, l'engagement civique, la danse, l'audiovisuel et l'environnement. 🇹🇳 Ces moments de partage et d'apprentissage sont essentiels pour renforcer notre engagement envers la jeunesse méditerranéenne. ✨ Les jeunes expriment leur vision de la Méditerranée ✨ Le 26 septembre, les Rencontres Méditerranéennes de Tunis ont offert à une cinquantaine de participants un véritable espace d'échanges et de partage ! L’objectif de ces Rencontres Méditerranéennes ? 🌊 Créer un espace où la jeunesse peut s'exprimer, et se réaliser pleinement, face aux défis du quotidien, mais aussi faciliter un dialogue entre partenaires techniques et financiers, jeunes, acteurs associatifs (merci aux associations présentes tout au long de la journée - @Association KAIF pour la culture artistique et les droits de l'Homme, DCS - Danseurs Citoyens Sud, RAFIQ E2C,  @Association Cinéma Pour Tous, @Association Internationale de l'Hospitalité et du Tourisme, @Association ADO+, Ftartchi, France Volontaires, Minassa منصة, IECD Tunisie). Cela nous a notamment permis d’explorer ensemble les nombreuses opportunités et leviers offerts par le monde associatif en Méditerranée. 🎥 Cette vidéo vous donne un aperçu de cette journée mémorable ! 🗣️ Gatekeeping and stigma in Entrepreneurship: Let's talk! Entrepreneurship should be a path open to all, yet many young people face gatekeeping and stigma based on where they come from. Too often, they feel excluded from the entrepreneurial world because they weren't exposed to the necessary skills or networks. How do we break this cycle? How can we ensure every young person, no matter where they are and come from, gets the chance to imagine themselves as entrepreneurs?💡 ➡By increasing access to entrepreneurial training, including in remote areas, as Hiba Antoun highlighted. We believe that trainers working with young NEETs in 2nd Chance Schools and VET centers are the bridge between them and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, everywhere! ➡We were really inspired by everyones ideas at the Mediterranean Youth in Action Forum, where young voices such as @Nour's and professionals from the sector as Marwan Ayache, Peter Vesterbacka gathered to express their views on how to make the entrepreneurial ecosystem more inclusive, and what's missing until now. Astrid Desjobert, Director of Partnerships at IECD - Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement and Nisreen Abdoul, trainer at Sela for Training and Protection of Heritage, recently shared their insights on the conditions needed for youth entrepreneurial ecosystems to thrive in the Mediterranean at an international event gathering (youth) entrepreneurs, funders, politicians, NGOs, international organizations. 🌍 In the panel, we highlighted the following: ➡ Empowering youth voices: We must create more spaces for young people to express their entrepreneurial projects and ambitions. Their insights are invaluable—they know best what’s needed to succeed in their local context! ➡ Building entrepreneurship skills: There's a critical need for more trained professionals to teach entrepreneurship in vocational centers and 2nd Chance schools. ➡ Navigating the informal economy: Many entrepreneurial ventures in the Mediterranean operate in the informal sector. It's essential to develop targeted tools and resources to support NEET youth, despite the unique challenges of the informal economy. 🔍 Nisreen Abdoul shared a testimony about her experience as a young trainer at Sela for Training and Protection of Heritage. During the pannel she reflected on her training journey within SELA with more 100 people. During the panel called "Cultivating Inclusive Ecosystems" at the Mediterranean Youth in Action Forum in Helsinki, she shared with the various participants that through the training, she finally found her place and was assigned a role where her skills could really be valued. At first she had low trust in the future, but an entrepreneurial mindset allowed her to realize her goals. 🔍 Spotlight on Jordan: According to UNICEF, 39% of Jordanian youth (ages 15-29) are NEET—not in education, employment, or training. Research confirms that a lack of jobs is their primary barrier to employment.
