Another Amazing EACC Event! We’re excited to share that Melink Solar proudly supported the 2024 EACC Transform Symposium as one of the Bridge Builder sponsors. This event brought together progressive leaders from global organizations to shape the future of manufacturing and innovation. Hosted by the EACC Cincy (European American Chamber of Commerce), this annual gathering continues to spark meaningful conversations about leadership, technology, and the strategies driving change in today’s business landscape. Friday’s event at Safran Systems USA in Walton, KY, brought together industry leaders to explore the cutting-edge role of Industrial AI. As a company pushing the boundaries of commercial solar solutions, we know what it’s like to be at the forefront of innovation. Seeing how AI is transforming industries, from operational efficiency to smarter decision-making, resonated with us. Just like AI, solar energy is part of the future, and embracing these advancements is key to staying ahead. A big thank you to David Burns CIO of GE Aerospace, for his impactful keynote on AI’s transformative power, and to Heather Stemple and Brian Atkins from Procter & Gamble for their impressive demonstration of AI in optimizing global supply chains. At Melink Solar, we know what it’s like to be at the cutting edge of innovation, and we understand that embracing new technologies like AI can be challenging—especially when it’s hard to quantify the ROI on something so new or so different. But these advancements in the way we think and act are key to staying ahead. How is your company navigating this shift and adopting emerging technologies to drive progress? We’d love to hear your thoughts—join the conversation in the comments! A huge thanks to the EACC for hosting another inspiring and forward-thinking symposium! #Innovation #AI #ManufacturingLeadership #EACCTransform #MelinkSolar #Industry4.0 #Leadership #Collaboration #Transform Thanks to our sponsors: Modula USA, Altix Consulting, Safran, JobsOhio, Duke Energy Corporation, Foreign Trade Zone 46 (Ohio) and 47 (Kentucky) – Greater Cincinnati FTZ, Inc., University of Cincinnati Carl H. If you're flying into or out of CVG Airport - Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, you'll notice our friends at R.A Jones are powered by the SUN! 🌞 Jonathon Titterton, Daniel Yoder, Brandon Bell, EACC Cincy (European American Chamber of Commerce), Coesia S.p.A., Marco Cocchiglia
👀 Take a look at what we found at Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky International Airport?! 🍃 Photos of our new solar power array, unveiled just earlier this summer in partnership with Melink Solar at our Covington facility. These solar panels now generate enough zero-carbon electricity to power more than half of our facility's energy needs. 👉 Interested in learning more? https://lnkd.in/diaYN6gu #RAJones #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #CleanEnergy

Please VOTE for Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, the Greenest Zoo in America, for the Solar Builder Magazine Project of the Year award. You can vote once per day through October 11th in the link below, at the bottom of the page 🔽 Now, let us explain why they deserve your vote... 🐘 🦁 🐅 The Zoo is not new to solar. They led the way with their first system in 2006 and the first #carport project we built with them in 2011, with many more installations to follow. In 2024, the zoo completed another parking canopy project to provide shade for its growing members and visitors, and to help reach its #NetZero goals by 2025. To help offset energy poverty in the neighborhood, the zoo also installed an additional 165 kW of panels through its Community Solar Resiliency Program (CSRP) to support smaller systems at churches, community centers, and schools through SonLight Power. In summary, the Zoo is not only slashing their electric bills, they are also cutting their carbon emissions - while helping their neighbors. They've been doing this for years. They are sharing their solar resources to communities in need so that more families and organizations can access clean, renewable energy and benefit from lower utilities. Thank you to Mark Fisher for your bold, relentless leadership. “How many solar panels would it take to power our school?” and “What happens during the summer months when solar produces more energy than we need?” were some of the questions from 8th grade science classes at INDIAN HILL EXEMPTED VILLAGE SCHOOL DISTRICT last week. We were delighted to educate the students alongside Jake Kuss, who left a Green Energy Machine with the teachers to continue shedding the light on solar energy. Younger generations value sustainability and will be our future leaders in the renewable energy sector. We are thankful for Shared Power Network’s meaningful impact at Ohio schools! This multi-purpose space surrounded by classrooms is called "the neighborhood" for 8th graders. State of the art learning center! Lauren Gentene Kirk Koennecke

Miami University is flipping on the sustainability switch to energize its campus! With Sharon and Graham Mitchell's generous $5 million gift, Miami is taking a significant step towards carbon neutrality. Seth Parker and Fabian Schmahl were thrilled to participate in this incredible event during the announcement of the Sharon and Graham Mitchell Sustainability Park. 🌲🌞 The new solar field will not only reduce Miami's electric bills and carbon footprint - it will also inspire future leaders. Melink Solar is honored to be selected for the solar design and build of this project. We look forward to our partnership with Miami University. We are excited for the ribbon cutting and to see Mitchell family power on the solar system. Miami University Alumni Association Gregory Crawford
