  • ❤️ Today, on #InternationalVolunteerDay, we’re proud to celebrate David Ramos and all our team members who volunteer their time to make a difference! ❤️ At CVE North America, we believe in the power of giving back and empowering our team to make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. One of the most meaningful ways CVE North America contributes to the spirit of volunteerism is through our Volunteering Paid Time Off (VPTO) program. This initiative empowers every team member to dedicate up to two (2) days per calendar year to volunteer with nonprofit organizations they’re passionate about. Thank you to David Ramos and all our team members for making a difference through the power of volunteering!

Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with the Monticello Central School District's Backpack Program. For those who may not be familiar with it, the mission of the Backpack Program is to provide food for children who might otherwise experience hunger, particularly on weekends, holidays, and during school breaks. In the United States, nearly 14 million children are impacted by food insecurity, which equates to approximately 1 in 5 children. The importance of this program cannot be overstated. Each year, my responsibilities include shopping for food, packing meals, and personally delivering holiday meals to each family’s home. This year, I had the opportunity to bring my son, Scott, to help him appreciate the significance of the volunteer work I am engaged in during this critical time. He witnessed the extensive efforts put forth by dedicated school district personnel, such as Rebecca Frey-Ramos and Linda Nittoli, who contribute countless hours to the program. These individuals often conduct weekend food deliveries and, in some cases, purchase food out of their own pockets for families in need. I extend my sincere gratitude to all the educators within the Monticello School District who devote significant time and resources to the Backpack Program, as well as to those who contribute to local food banks and community initiatives. I also wish to acknowledge the generous individual I encountered last week, who, upon inquiring about my shopping carts filled with turkeys and other food items, willingly donated her club points to facilitate the acquisition of an additional turkey for families. With the Christmas season approaching, I encourage everyone to consider making donations and offering their time to support those in need. Every contribution, whether financial or of one’s time, is invaluable and will be greatly appreciated by those facing significant challenges. #InternationalVolunteerDay #KidsFood #HealthyKids #BackPackProgram

  • CVE North America had an incredible time attending CLEANPOWER 2024; this month, we joined the brightest minds in clean energy to chart the industry's future and discuss the immense opportunities ahead. From insightful panels like "Building the Future: Federal Permitting" and "Domestic Clean Energy Manufacturing" to deep dives into "Green Hydrogen" and "Offshore Wind," the conference was a hub of innovation and collaboration. One highlight was the discussions on agrivoltaics in Minnesota, exploring how integrating targeted sheep grazing and native pollinator ecosystems can enhance land use for ecological benefits. Thank you to the American Clean Power Association (ACP) for organizing this event, to the speakers, and to the attendees for making it unforgettable. Together, we are shaping a sustainable future! #CLEANPOWER2024 #RenewableEnergy #Solar #Sustainability #CleanEnergyFuture #CommunitySolar
