🌟 Celebrating Dan Cook - Paint Shop Manager🌟 At Mercedes-Benz Vans Charleston, our team members are at the heart of everything we do. This Black History Month, we're proud to honor Dan Cook—a trailblazer whose journey exemplifies these values.   Raised in rural Kentucky, Dan learned the importance of seeing people as individuals—a mindset that fueled his 30-year career, including 8 years with MBV. He made history as the first Black Group Leader in the Paint Shop, later becoming Paint Shop Manager and paving the way for future leaders.   Dan’s military service shaped his leadership style, emphasizing teamwork, respect, and collaboration. For him, inclusion is about the small moments—greeting colleagues, listening to their stories, and building connections.   His advice: “Be kind. Don’t spread negativity. We all share the same environment.”   Outside of work, Dan enjoys horse racing and is the youngest of 11 siblings.
