After almost a year of planning, we are ready to officially announce Nourishy, a pioneering freeze-drying and logistics service aimed at revolutionising the way that we preserve human milk. Together, in partnership with Milkify (USA People's Choice Startup of the Year), we will soon be launching Australia's first breast milk freeze drying service. We have professionally fitted our facility in Brisbane and have been working tirelessly with Milkify and other industry professionals, investors and advisors to perfect our process. What is Nourishy? Nourishy offers a breast milk freeze-drying and logistics service to Australian mums who want to preserve their stash. We ship each mums frozen stash to our facility and transform it into a 3-year shelf stable, dry powder. The freeze-drying process gently removes water-content from the milk, converting it into a dry, nutrient rich powder. We package each mums milk into high density barrier pouches and finally ship their powdered milk back to them. All that mums need to then do is reconstitute the powder with purified water in order to get it back to its original consistency. Our process is 100% contactless, meaning that milk never comes into contact with any of our machinery or equipment and is never pooled with other milk. Why Nourishy? ⚕️ Longer Storage. Much Longer The WHO's recommendation for frozen milk is 12 months of storage in a chest-freezer. Our packaging and process has been externally tested to allow freeze-dried breast milk 3 year shelf-stability without the need for refrigeration and does not cause nutritional degradation, which can occur during long-duration freezing. ❤️ Convenience Most airlines will not allow frozen or liquid milk onboard and a lot of daycares also will not accept it. Nourishy freeze-dried breast milk is packaged into convenient pouches and can be easily slipped into carry-on luggage, does not require refrigeration and needs only to be reconstituted with cooled-boiled (or purified) water to bring it back to its original consistency ❄️ Free Up Your Freezer Free up that much needed freezer-space. We send mums a medical-grade cooler to use for shipping their milk to our facility, giving peace of mind that their precious stash remains frozen whilst in transit from their freezer to our facility.
