Roosevelt High School senior Leo Peralta was one of only nine students selected nationwide to participate in a Town Hall Meeting at the 68th Annual Council of the Great City Schools fall conference last week in Dallas, TX! As a current MPS School Board student representative, Peralta is no stranger to sharing his voice. Moderated by NBC political analyst Chuck Todd, students engaged in meaningful discussions on critical topics ranging from the upcoming election to school attendance. Superintendent Dr. Lisa Sayles-Adams attended the event along with fellow MPS administrators and school board members, highlighting the importance of student voices in shaping the future of education. #StudentVoices #youthvoice #urbaneducation #MPSproud

Imagine how cool it would be to attend an arts school half a block from the Orpheum Theater and near the rest of the Minneapolis theater district. That’s what the Minneapolis Public Schools students at the FAIR School for Arts get to do every day.
