Advancing breakthroughs to end misophonia suffering.
About us
The Misophonia Research Fund (MRF) funds research dedicated to uncovering the underlying causes of misophonia and developing innovative treatments. Misophonia is a disorder characterized by a decreased tolerance to specific sounds, such as chewing and breathing. Through a competitive grants program, MRF has directed over $10 million into groundbreaking research. Our focus on interdisciplinary collaboration aims to deepen the understanding of misophonia, support the creation of diagnostic tools, and enhance the rigor of clinical studies in the field. Our ultimate goal is to end the suffering for individuals affected by misophonia.
