🌏 We're excited to announce that Mitti Labs has been selected for an award by NASA Ames Research Center! 🛰️ This NASA Carbon Monitoring System award lead by Joanne Hall, Ph.D. will allow us to continue enhancing accuracy and reliability of crop-residue burning emissions for national greenhouse gas inventories in a climate-smart framework’ with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, USDA, US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). 🔥 🌾 Crop residue burning plays a critical role in the carbon cycle influencing emissions, soil health and cropland productivity. We will help improve Global Cropland Area Burned (GloCAB) products and emissions quantification with tillage management information derived from remote sensing, ML, and ground data for hotspots around the world. Watch this space as we develop cutting edge technology to improve detection of cropland burning!!!

🌏 We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our climate-smart projects which are supporting 30,000 small-holder rice farmers across India. 🌾 At Mitti Labs, we’re reimagining rice projects from the ground up to develop the most transparent and trustworthy methane reduction programs - empowering companies to invest in #nature confidently.Through our projects, we have seen farmers reduce #water usage by 40%, #methane emissions by 50%, and improve incomes by up to 30% We are grateful for our investors at Lightspeed India and Voyager Ventures, who co-led our $3 million funding round last year, and for the support from our incredible angel investors, friendly advisors, and the partners dedicated to supporting us on-ground.
