Today, more than 400 conservation leaders and stakeholders came together for the annual DNR Roundtable. They gathered to discuss accomplishments, challenges, opportunities, and strategies regarding conservation and the management of natural resources in Minnesota. The event also strengthened and encouraged partnerships in fisheries, wildlife, and ecological and water resources. The day was filled with a variety of panel discussions on the state of Minnesota’s ecosystems and outdoor economies. Participants conversed and shared thoughtful insights while attending their breakout sessions of choice, with topics ranging from new developments and innovations in outdoor recreation, to sustainable conservation and infrastructure funding, to the latest research, monitoring and management efforts surrounding Minnesota’s fish, wildlife, lands, and waters. The conservation community continues to make great strides in working together to protect our state’s natural resources for this and generations to come.
