Breathe better air in your home, office, or anywhere you work, play, laugh, feel, and live.

About us

Molekule is creating safer, healthier indoor environments worldwide, starting with our most essential resource: the air we breathe. Molekule's lineup of air purification solutions incorporates their patented photo electrochemical oxidation (PECO) technology, which surpasses traditional filters by effectively destroying a wide range of pollutants including VOCs, mold, bacteria, viruses, and allergens. These devices have undergone rigorous assessments and validations by third-party laboratories, earning FDA clearance as medical devices. It’s all part of Molekule’s vision of changing the world from the indoors out. By using nanotechnology, PECO is able to destroy pollutants 1000 times smaller than the HEPA standard tests for, making Molekule unlike Molekule’s proprietary technology, Photo Electrochemical Oxidation (PECO), works at the molecular level to destroy pollutants. Developed over two decades by research scientists, PECO is an innovative technology that utilizes free radicals – the same radicals used to destroy cancer cells – to break down pollutants at a molecular level, including VOCs, bacteria, mold, viruses, and allergens. By using nanotechnology, PECO is able to destroy pollutants 1000 times smaller than the HEPA standard tests for, making Molekule unlike any other air purifier. Molekule is inspired and driven by the many stories from Molekule reviews about how thousands of customers have experienced the difference with PECO technology. The entire team – employees, partners, investors – share a deep commitment to building a new future of clean, healthy air around the world. More than two decades of scientific research led us to where we are today. By working together, there’s no limit to what we can achieve in the years to come. As of January 2023, AeroClean and Molekule have joined together to provide the largest range of proprietary and patented, FDA-cleared air purification devices to bring better indoor air to the places you live and breathe in.

Even after the flames are the extinguished and the smoke dissipates, fires leave behind more than just destruction. Their airborne pollutants and harmful chemicals, like PFAS, pose serious risks to public health. We couldn't be more proud to share about the groundbreaking, fluorine-free firefighting foam technology that's safer for first responders and the environment. With a recent $1 million DoD grant, we’re preparing for a major demonstration at the Naval Research Laboratory, bringing us one step closer to cleaner, safer solutions. Congrats to Jaspreet Dhau and team for their relentless pursuit of innovation to better protect people, communities, and the planet for generations to come. #CleanAir #FireSafety #Innovation

Vice President of R&D at Molekule Inc.

Fires, including fuel and wildfires, have become an unfortunate ongoing reality in our world. Beyond the sheer destruction and loss of life, their byproducts— airborne toxic pollutants and harmful chemicals like PFAS (Forever Chemicals) —stand as a major threat to the health of our communities. At Molekule, we’re driven by a mission to address some of the most critical challenges facing our world today - specifically creating safer, healthier indoor environments worldwide, beginning with the most essential resource: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲. That's why I'm excited to share the important progress we've made in advancing groundbreaking firefighting foam technology. This proprietary, fluorine-free firefighting foam is potent against gasoline, jet fuel or flammable liquids. Most importantly, it's safer for the environment and first responders in many ways: • 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Extinguishes fires in seconds, meeting and exceeding military specifications. • 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗻-𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Prevents reignition, ensuring safety for firefighters and reducing risk. • 𝗘𝗰𝗼-𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆: 100% biodegradable and eliminates reliance on harmful PFAS chemicals. • 𝗨𝗻𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Outperforms conventional products, staying intact longer under extreme conditions. Our work doesn’t stop there. With a recent $1 million grant from the DoD’s Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP) , we’re gearing up for a major demonstration at the Naval Research Laboratory. The fundamental research on the development of fluorine-free firefighting foam was funded by DoD's Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP). This is just one step in a journey to create safer environments and pave the way for groundbreaking solutions to combat airborne and environmental pollutants. This innovation isn’t just about science—it’s about protecting people, communities, and the planet for generations to come. I’m incredibly proud of the team’s dedication and excited to see what we’ll achieve together. Let’s continue the conversation! • It’s time to rethink our relationship with plastic. Microplastics are tiny specks of plastic, less than 5 millimeters long, that are found everywhere. They are gaining increasing attention as studies reveal ever more concerning effects on human health. These particles have been detected in every organ of the human body and have been linked to tissue damage, respiratory issues, and even the increased spread of cancer. So, what can be done? - Support innovation: Advances in bioplastics and sustainable materials could replace toxic compounds with safer alternatives. - Regulate chemicals: Stricter oversight of plastic additives is essential to reduce exposure for everyone. - Reduce reliance: Transitioning to reusable and non-plastic alternatives can lower demand for harmful materials. The science is clear: while plastics offer convenience and cost savings, their chemical complexity poses significant challenges for both human and environmental health. What steps do you think can drive the shift toward safer, smarter materials? #Microplastics #ToxicChemicals #SustainableScience #RethinkingPlastics

Do you know more about air quality than the average person? You might be surprised. We went out over lunch to ask a few common air quality questions, and it turns out that they’re thinking about everything BUT what they're breathing in. ✅ While people are very aware of the quality of their food, their water, and their exercise routines, almost no one (except for one very air educated person), thinks about what they’re breathing in. ✅ Very few people know when to change their HVAC filter. 😂 ✅ There’s a lot of misconceptions about cleaning chemicals out there. What do YOU want to know about air quality? Let us know in the comments and we’ll get the answers. https://lnkd.in/gPqUiWmB
