On this day, thousands of people representing different backgrounds and perspectives are participating in hundreds of conversations to discuss how we create a more kind and just future for all. Last week, WBNS-TV and Tracy Townsend highlighted our mark-free radiation therapy for breast cancer patients at Mount Carmel, the first of its kind in central Ohio. Using surface-guided radiation therapy (SGRT) with AlignRT, this revolutionary approach eliminates the need for traditional skin marks. Instead, a precise pattern of red lights ensures accurate treatment, improving comfort, reducing treatment time, and eliminating the constant reminder of radiation for patients. Last Thursday, we had the honor of welcoming Congressman Michael Carey to our new Mount Carmel Dublin campus. Representing Ohio's 15th Congressional District, Congressman Carey has been instrumental in supporting the critical roadway and infrastructure improvements in Dublin, paving the way for our new hospital.
