The day after we conclude our winter recreation season at Mt. Hood Meadows, we always hold a Team Member Appreciation Day, where team members and their families get to ride the Buttercup and Mt. Hood Express lifts while they are closed to the general public, enjoy free food, and get a chance to win skis, snowboards, and other items in an epic raffle. This year, we documented our Team Member Appreciation Day with a Super 8 film camera, which was on loan from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication's Multimedia Journalism program, where Meadows videographer Ben Mitchell attended grad school. Many thanks to the program for use of the camera and handling the development of the film! We hope you enjoy our film, "Meadows Home Movies".

She Grooms is a multi-day workshop founded by Mt. Hood Meadows Slope and Park Grooming Manager Allison Marriner to help support women who are working in or interested in the snow-grooming industry. We were honored to host the 2nd annual event a few weeks ago and meet so many truly amazing people – both industry leaders and up-and-comers. Watch the video to learn more about the workshop, hear from some of the attendees about the impact it had on them, and see how She Grooms might grow in the future.
