🏆Muller’s Kentucky and Irving Intersection and Park Improvement project won an American Public Works Association Colorado award in the Large Community Sustainability category. The project was led by Muller in cooperation with Stream Landscape Architecture + Planning to transform the site of an old Xcel substation into a new skatepark complete with a basketball court, shade structures, and mural art that reflects the culture of the surrounding community. Intersection improvements were also performed as part of the project which included a new bus stop and water quality treatment planters placed within traffic calming bulbouts.
