MVP Health Care has been made aware of fraudulent individuals posing as MVP Human Resources representatives through fake e-mail addresses and text messaging systems. This is an issue we take very seriously, and we work with the appropriate authorities to report these scams. Here are a few things to be aware of to help identify recruitment fraud: MVP will only communicate with applicants through emails generated by a @MVPHealthCare.com domain or via our Dayforce tracking system (notify@dayforce.com). Additionally, at no point in MVP’s hiring process will an MVP recruiter ever ask you to make any type of payment to be considered for a role. If you receive an email or text message claiming to be from MVP Health Care that asks for payment-related or personal information and you are concerned about its legitimacy, you may notify us by emailing hr@mvphealthcare.com. Together with the City of Rochester and FRIENDS OF THE ROCHESTER PUBLICMARKET INC, we unveiled a new fundraiser featuring reusable City of Rochester Public Market shopping bags that feature the work of local artists. The bags feature two works, a floral artwork on one side by Michael Tomb and Marcia Zach of Studio Michaelino on one side; and a painting by Nancy Wiley that captures the Market’s lively atmosphere on the other. Sales for the bags begin Sunday, Sept. 15 at Artist Row, the annual juried art show at the Market that benefits the Friends of the Public Market. The bags will be available for sale at the Market during regular Market days. “The Rochester Public Market not only increases access to local, fresh, and healthy foods for our residents, but it also creates a great platform to celebrate the vitality of Rochester by highlighting local artists and bringing our community together,” said Matt Leegan, Senior Director of Commercial Sales and Account Management for MVP Health Care We also unveiled the Market Token Program, which provides wooden tokens to SNAP recipients, allowing them to purchase fresh food from more than 100 participating vendors. The Market Token Program Center is located behind the Market Office in a re-purposed shipping container and is open year-round from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. #CommunityImpact #rochesterpublicmarket #FamilyHealth #TeamMVP

Congratulations to Deborah Brundage, our Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, who has been named to the Rochester Business Journal's 2024 Power List for Health Care! The list celebrates individuals who have played a significant role in helping to improve the health and well-being of the Rochester community. Deborah told the Rochester Business Journal: “The health care industry is extremely complex — something MVP is working to simplify for our customers. At MVP, we are operationalizing ways to meet our customers where they are and help them navigate their personal health journey with services, advocacy and support. One critical component of simplifying health care is finding ways to improve health equity — giving everyone the opportunity to improve the trajectory of their health journey through things like health literacy, health education, and improved access to high-quality care.” Read more about Deborah's contributions to MVP, improving care for our customers, and the investing in the health of the Rochester community here: https://lnkd.in/gamU3j6m #Rochester #HealthEquity #Leadership #Marketing #Community
