Today, we're excited to announce our partnership with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center! Taking place over a four-year period, the Ohio State Genomic Health program will enroll 100,000 participants to screen for hereditary health risks seen in genetic diseases such as breast, ovarian, and colorectal cancers, in addition to genetic variants for high cholesterol. James Lu, M.D. Ph.D, CEO and co-founder of Helix: “Partnering with the Ohio State University, one of the nation’s top-ranked academic medical centers, will provide vital information about whether patients have an increased risk of disease. Our other programs have found that 1 in 75 participants received a positive result for one of these serious, actionable genetic conditions. We are proud to partner with Ohio State to positively impact public health across the state and enable individuals to take greater control of their health.” Read more about the largest precision health initiative in Ohio: https://bit.ly/3WjS6Ur

🌈 Though the season of city wide Pride Celebrations has widely drawn to a close, our friends in San Diego eagerly await the San Diego Pride Festival (https://bit.ly/3zRWQZF) and we at Helix are reflecting on the importance of celebrating LGBTQ+ communities authentically. At Helix, our commitment goes beyond symbolic gestures; it's about meaningful action and continuous growth in inclusivity. ✨ Our journey towards inclusivity is ongoing and driven by listening and learning. We've recognized the importance of year-round support for all Helixers and ensuring that every voice is heard. We're proud of our commitment to IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access) and supportive of our ERGs (Employee Resource Groups), which are at the heart of our efforts. We're showing Helix Pride by creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to be their true selves. We’ve curated learning paths for our employees via Udemy and encourage attendance at our Hone Master Class centered on Understanding Gender Diversity and TGX+ Inclusion in the Workplace. Let's celebrate progress and strive for a future where equality is the norm, not just during Pride Month, but every day of the year. Together, we can make a difference. Happy Pride from all of us at Helix! 🏳️🌈🎉🥳❤️ #HelixPride #HelixIntersectionality #HelixERG #HelixIDEA #HelixInclusion
