Congratulations  to Inovia Vein's Nicole Gallivan  for her recent presentation at the American Vein & Lymphatic Society in Chicago for her presentation on "Optimizing Patient Comfort During and After Outpatient Superficial Venous Procedures". Nicole and her co-authors—Dr Edward Boyle, Dr. Randolph Todd Jones, M.D. and Rachel H. Drgastin —conducted an extensive systematic literature search, focusing on novel or potentially new approaches that go beyond tumescent anesthesia or the avoidance of thermal methods, such as ProNox, topicals, Cryoanesthesia, and, of course, the value of conversation as a form of distraction. We're incredibly proud of Nicole and the entire team at Inovia Vein for their dedication to advancing the field of vein care. As we continue to invest in research and professional development, we look forward to implementing these new insights to benefit our patients and further elevate the standard of care at Inovia Vein.

Last week, our very own Jennifer (McCrindle) McCadden, MPA, CAE, Executive Director of The American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM), was on the move in Chicago! She attended the Venous Early Career Course (VECC) with a member of the ABVLM Board of Directors who was a Lead Faculty member for the event. VECC offers emerging physicians hands-on learning opportunities alongside top venous experts. Jen also represented ABVLM at the American Vein & Lymphatic Society (AVLS) Annual Congress, the largest vein and lymphatic medical conference in the U.S. Thank you, Jen for your dedication and the incredible work you do for our valued client, ABVLM!
