Let’s wrap up the week by celebrating an October highlight! From October 14-17, our CEO, Abhishek Motayed, and Director of Systems Engineering, Vinicius Fonseca, represented N5 Sensors at the prestigious XPRIZE Wildfire Team Summit 2024 in Utah. Our team, N5SHIELD, was among the 29 teams advancing to the technical round of the XPRIZE Wildfire Challenge. This invitation-only summit brought together all the qualified teams to showcase cutting-edge solutions tackling the challenges posed by #wildfires. The summit provided fertile ground for collaboration, enabling deep dives into the innovative technological solutions shaping the future of #wildfiremanagement. N5 Sensors was ecstatic to showcase our #environmentalsensor network, N5SHIELD®, and connect with pioneering innovators from around the world. Reflecting on the experience, Abhishek shared, “It was fantastic to engage with other teams! Vini and I were excited to demonstrate our early-detection environmental sensor network, N5SHIELD®, in action, showing how it can play a pivotal role in wildfire prevention through an integration of advanced technology and innovation. The event was highly productive, and I’ve come away with valuable insights.” We couldn’t be prouder of the team and their impact at the summit. Here’s to continued innovation in the quest to End Destructive Wildfires!

💎 N5 Sensors is honored to have been selected by the United States Department of Defense and the United States Air Force Kirtland Base to keep the communities of New Mexico protected from wildfires! 📌 Given the state’s susceptibility to wildland fires due to dense sagebrush growth in the region, the installation of our #earlydetection #wildfire and #airqualitymonitoring sensor network, N5SHIELD®, across the Kirtland Air Force Base bolsters wildfire prevention efforts in the area and equips emergency responders with actionable intelligence. Jaime Jimenez, Kirtland Air Force Base Installation Fire Chief, shares in the press release: “Early detection means our firefighters and other supporting mission partners can come out here quicker to extinguish the fire.”’ 💫 We are thrilled to be selected to be a part of this endeavor. This deployment marks a significant milestone as our first installation on a military base and our inaugural deployment in New Mexico! We are proud that our technology is able to rise to the challenge and expand the limits of wildfire prevention and management. “Although other advanced wildfire detection systems exist, what makes this system unique is the specific combination of advanced sensors, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning to detect wildfires in real time, as well as the scale and sensitivity of the system. Current detection systems rely heavily on high-definition cameras, satellites, and drones. This deployment is expected to set a new standard for wildfire detection nationwide.” Read more about the October 23 deployment in the official press release below 👇🏽 https://lnkd.in/dJv3Mt-j DHS Science and Technology Directorate TechNexus Venture Collaborative
