Much of the buzz in the games community around spatial computing seems to have died down after all the initial hype surrounding Apple's Vision Pro launch earlier this year. I'd argue that the recent Meta announcements are far more meaningful. I dug into all the news coming out of Meta Connect for Naavik Digest this week. Check out the link below for a look at the current market for VR and AR games, takes on recent moves from Apple and Meta, and some forward-looking perspectives on the future of spatial gaming. Side note: I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a pair of Meta Ray-Bans🤓. Anyone have opinions one way or the other? Would love to hear thoughts from current users. https://lnkd.in/g6MerMVk

🚀 Ubisoft’s Neverending Challenges The floodgates have burst open at Ubisoft. Since the launch of Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft stock (UBI) on the Euronext Paris exchange (UBI) has plummeted by a third, the most dramatic two-week decline in the company’s history. This tumultuous period has sent the company’s stock to its lowest levels since 2014, when revenue was half that of fiscal year 2024, and earnings before taxes were negative, versus €262.4M today, and global industry revenues were materially lower than they are now. But how did Ubisoft get there, and what can be expected in the future? To find out, keep on reading here: https://lnkd.in/ejxR6ieY Thanks for writing, Mario Stefanidis, CFA!
