Nango now supports real-time syncs and integrations with webhooks! ⚡ One of our most requested feature is now available for 190+ APIs: 👂Listen for incoming webhooks from 190+ APIs, with a single interface 🔄 Real-time syncs triggered by webhooks from the external API ⬅️ Forward incoming webhooks directly to your app 💻 Fully programmable: Deploy our pre-built templates, or customize them to your needs. The best part? Even though each API takes a different approach to webhooks, you don’t have to study them. Nango handles these differences for you. You get a single interface to build your product features on top of the real-time updates. Check it out. We are looking forward to your feedback!

How do product integrations impact your SaaS metrics? 📈 4 stats from asking 500k SaaS users Profitwell did a study on how integrations impact key SaaS metrics. Here is what they learned: 1. Customers using 1+ integrations have 10% less churn 2. Willingness to pay specifically for integrations has declined by 70% in recent years… 📉 3. …but customers using 1-3 integrations are now willing to pay 18% more for the same core product! 📈 4. This is true across all customer segments: From SMB to Enterprise My takeways: - For integrations to be impactful, users need to use & like them (duh!) - Don’t charge separately for integrations. Bake them into your core packages (e.g. higher tiers) How have integrations impacted your SaaS product?

May has been a busy month for team Nango 🏃💨 Here's a quick overview of what was going on behind the scenes: 🔹15 new APIs supported: We added 15 new APIs, for a total of 190+ APIs now. This includes integrations with platforms like: - WooCommerce - Atena Health - Freshdesk - Dialpad 🔹Slack alerts: Never again miss an issue with your integrations thanks to our real-time alerts. All alerts are grouped by error type, and update if an issue is transient and resolves itself. 🔹Periodic token refresh: Nango now automatically refreshes your access tokens at least daily, to make sure they don't expire. 🔹Better sync management UI: Our sync management UI received an overhaul to keep up with the many new features we added in the last weeks. Enjoy smoother & simpler syncs. We've been working hard on these updates and can't wait to hear your feedback. And we have a big one coming up for June - watch this space! :)

Nango now supports 190 APIs across 28 different categories. 18 months ago, we started with 30 APIs and a dream to build a single API & platform for all product integrations. From custom auth methods, to per-user base URLs, data-center dependent TLDs, customer id’s to be sent in headers, API keys that rotate with every API request (??), and OAuth-but-not-quite-OAuth, it feels like we must have seen it all. It’s been hard. Sometimes frustrating. But also insanely fun! APIs, it seems, know no creative limits. We can’t wait for the weirdness the next 200 APIs will bring! 🤓 Find all 190+ supported APIs here: https://buff.ly/3KaMfuY

Great docs are an essential part of the product for dev tools 📖 We recently rebuilt Nango’s docs from the ground up. Here are our learnings: 1. Treat the docs as a product 🎁 Just like other features, we continuously collect customer feedback and improve and refine the docs. It takes a lot of time, but we think our docs are a crucial feature of Nango! 2. The docs can power entire features 🔖 Our docs have a page for each API that Nango supports. On this page, we document API-specific quirks, gotchas, and helpful links to get started with the API on Nango. It’s a helpful feature of our product, implemented entirely on the docs! 3. Don’t reinvent the wheel on structure 🔀 It turns out there is a proven best practice for structuring developer docs. Like other UX patterns, using it will help every developer feel more quickly at home in your documentation. See the link in the first comment! 4. UX & UI matters ✨ Switching our docs to Mintlify has greatly improved the readability and navigation of our docs. It lets us focus on writing great content instead of fighting layout issues. The built-in API playground is the cherry on top. 5. AI chatbots are a great fit for docs 🤖 Our docs have a built-in AI chatbot (powered by Inkeep). It's a great addition to keyword-based search, as it lets new users ask structured questions about how to use Nango. I highly recommend it! What are your learning from writing docs for developers? I am looking forward to reading them in the comments! #saas #devtools #docs
