Do you have a Red Flag Day Routine? We never want to leave animals behind in a fire, but human safety always comes first. In a fast moving fire, time can run out for animals who are difficult to catch or unwilling to load up. Part of your Red Flag Day Routine can include staging defensible space with water and supplies needed to support animals who may be left behind.
