As we reflect on September 11, 2001, we remember the fallen, their families, and the first responders. Sometimes tragedies happen collectively as a nation, and we mourn together. Sometimes, they happen more privately. Student and staff well-being is an essential component to learning as well as general health. Understanding our own needs and supporting others with empathy can help create an environment where people feel valued and capable. If you're a teacher or education leader who is unsure where to begin? This Get Smart Fast: Supporting Student and Staff Well-Being describes school-based conditions of success and provides examples of innovative programs. https://lnkd.in/eYvejfNa

Last week, we had the opportunity to reflect on the last five years—our Communities of Practice, Signature Projects, Work Groups, and more than 230 developed resources…and one thing was clear…when we combine our expertise, unique backgrounds, and a mission to bolster equity, it brings about meaningful change in education. Throughout the two days, we celebrated the wins and strategized for the future, asking questions like, “How can we reach more people with our free resources and services?” and “How can we ensure greater access and better outcomes for every student?” #educationforall
