In honor of National Puppy Dog Day, we're excited to highlight a special partnership between National Industries for the Blind and America’s VetDogs, a nonprofit that trains and places guide and service dogs with veterans, first responders, and active-duty service members with disabilities. Together, we’ve created America’s VetDogs-branded dog collars, food and water bowls, and leashes, designed for personal pets and available to commissary shoppers. Since 2018, NIB and its associated nonprofit agency, L C Industries (LCI), have been working with America’s VetDogs to bring this initiative to life. LCI employees who are blind, low vision, or visually impaired stitch, collate, and box these products, showcasing how employment opportunities in the military resale program are changing lives. #NationalIndustriesoftheBlind #LCI #NationalPuppyDogDay #AmericasVetDogs #ServiceDogs #MeaningfulEmployment #Veterans #Collaboration #MilitaryResale
