The National Adoption Association (NAA) team recently participated in a transformative two-day training with Joyce James Consulting titled “Groundwater Analysis of Racial Inequities” and “Turning the Mirror Inward.” This enlightening experience provided an opportunity for the team to explore how, without a racial equity lens, even well-intentioned leaders can unknowingly perpetuate institutional racism, leading to racial disparities in programs and services. Through the development of a shared understanding of systemic racism, the team is now better equipped to build more equitable systems, strengthen community partnerships, and drive meaningful change. #RacialEquity #TransformativeLeadership #GroundwaterAnalysis #StructuralChange #EquityInAction #SocialJustice #CommunityImpact
