Dairy farmers recognize the importance of a healthy rumen, vital for breaking down feed and absorbing nutrients necessary for milk production. Research shows that a shorter dry period improves rumen function, as the traditional 60-day dry period can reduce rumen papillae surface area, affecting nutrient absorption. This can lead to lower milk yields, slow rumen re-adaptation, and increased postpartum health issues. Galaxis Frontier offers a solution by supporting optimal rumen function. Its unique blend of naturally occurring microbes enhances nutrient breakdown, improves feed efficiency, and promotes a balanced rumen microbiome. "What I’d say to a dairyman that is not using Galaxis Frontier is simple: at minimum, you're making an extra $0.70 per head per day, and that's after the cost of the product. If you're getting 5 lbs., you're looking upwards of an extra $1.00 per head per day. In today's economy with the need to maximize efficiency, how can you not?" Check out why Garrison Fernandes chooses Galaxis Frontier for his cows at galaxisfrontier.com.

Native Microbials and Gutz Analytics have joined forces to revolutionize how we predict methane emissions in dairy cows. By leveraging AI models and next-generation sequencing of cow saliva, we've developed a groundbreaking, non-invasive method to measure and predict enteric methane emissions. Our model has achieved a 5-fold reduction in prediction error compared to traditional methods. Curious to learn more? Dive into the details on our blog at https://lnkd.in/gVnYHjDd

Every summer, the Central Valley of California faces intense heat, which can lead to significant heat stress in dairy cows and a drop in milk production. We’ve been testing the impact of feeding Galaxis Frontier to lactating dairy cows during these extreme conditions across three commercial farms. The results are promising: - Cows experienced heat stress, but it was less severe compared to the control group. - Cows recovered faster as temperatures fell below 100°F. - Some cows showed no signs of heat stress at all. These findings could be a game-changer for dairy farmers looking to maintain productivity and cow well-being during hot summer months. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/dMruSWSx
