NCH is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached in our on-going negotiations to remain in-network with Florida Blue. The renewed contract and in-network status remain in place for the next three years and represents a fair agreement with mutually agreed upon quality goals and rewards based on efficiency. This new agreement also brings NCH into alignment with reimbursement rates that other local health providers currently receive from Florida Blue. Most importantly with the new agreement, Florida Blue members will continue to be able to access NCH doctors and health services at in-network rates with no interruption to service. Patients are asked to call the number on the back of their Florida Blue card should they have any specific questions related to their insurance coverage.
HSS at NCH welcomes Ahilan Sivaganesan, MD, spinal neurosurgeon. Dr. Sivaganesan earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He then completed his residency in neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, after which he completed an orthopedic spine fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York, New York.
