    Last week, WWD honored 2023 Neiman Marcus Award winner, Brunello Cucinelli, with the prestigious John B. Fairchild Award. Neiman Marcus Group leaders attended the celebratory gala, which capped off the WWD Apparel and Retail CEO Summit, during which NMG’s Geoffroy van Raemdonck hosted a fireside chat. The following morning, Brunello visited Bergdorf Goodman addressing associates, meeting with loyal clients, and taking in the dedicated Fifth Avenue windows. This special industry event and exclusive appearance reflect the power of our longstanding relationships.

    Last week, Bergdorf Goodman welcomed designer Christian Louboutin to the retailer’s iconic Fifth Avenue store in celebration of the exclusive ‘Trash’ collection. The collection utilizes imagery inspired by both brands as a design motif, blending a variety of materials in innovative combinations. Highlighting the brand’s luxurious craftsmanship, the collection boasts exquisite couture-like embroidery, like wearable art, and Louboutin’s signature red soles. Mr. Louboutin’s visit is a testament to the strength of our ongoing relationship. During the event, he took the time to meet with customers and sign red-soled heels in Bergdorf Goodman’s shoe salon. To commemorate his visit and the collaboration, two of Bergdorf’s iconic windows will be transformed with the visuals of the ‘Trash’ collection.

    Last week, Ulla Johnson made a rare personal appearance at Neiman Marcus NorthPark for an intimate cocktail hour and dinner with top customers. Her visit heralded the launch of seven exclusive Resort styles, accompanied by two custom-built shoppable installations. Ulla’s visit marked a special chapter for the two brands, strengthening a partnership first forged in 2021. This exclusive shop is a testament to NMG’s continued relationship with Schiaparelli, a heritage brand that is exclusively available at Neiman Marcus doors and Bergdorf Goodman in the U.S. Daniel’s visionary work was recognized with the 2024 Neiman Marcus Award for Creative Impact in the Field of Fashion, and his impact continues to resound throughout the industry. Truly representing the future of fashion, Daniel will be recognized tonight at the CFDA Awards, where he will be named the CFDA’s International Designer of the Year. Congratulations to Daniel on this illustrious achievement and the entire Schiaparelli team for their continued excellence!

    Last week we unveiled a new Burberry installation at Neiman Marcus NorthPark. Inspired by traditional park pavilions found throughout the UK, this prime example of our ‘Retail-tainment’ creates a one-of-a-kind experience for our customers. By bringing the outdoors in, the installation pays tribute to Burberry’s rich heritage of outerwear and outdoor exploration. In addition to creative displays of key men’s and women’s styles from Burberry’s Winter ‘24 collection, customers can enjoy classic British refreshments, from flapjacks to Earl Grey Tea. Check out the Burberry installation at Neiman Marcus NorthPark anytime until November 10!
