NELA-IL has had such a successful legislative session! Thank you to our amazing legislators and advocates for their work in securing passage of the following bills: Cook County Service of Process Bill passed to prevent unnecessary delays and free up sheriff's resources; Personnel Records Review Act Revised to Give it Teeth and Specificity; Family Responsibilities Discrimination Prohibited in Employment; Filing deadline for state discrimination claims extended to 2 years.
