Bullying isn’t just a playground problem—it can affect older adults too. In fact, 10-20% of seniors in senior living communities experience bullying, with most cases involving verbal abuse. Both men and women can be affected, and bullying can happen anywhere, from home to online. What can we do? Build empathy, be a role model, and foster confidence in those around you. Pay attention to shifts in behavior and don’t hesitate to ask questions. Together, we can create a more compassionate community.
