We are New Mexico’s pro soccer team, and we are determined to take soccer, the state and every single fan to the next level. We are something new, we are something unique, and we are something every New Mexican can be proud of. For club, for state, forever... We Are United. Somos Unidos. Announced in June 2018, New Mexico United (NMU) is one of seven expansion teams slated to join the United Soccer League (USL) for the 2019 season. The team provides a platform that brings New Mexicans together in ways they’ve never experienced before, and it will deliver a unique game day experience that is fun, exciting, and unifying. NMU will be a championship-caliber soccer team, but it will do much more than play soccer. It will grow the state’s economy, employ New Mexicans, uniquely marry art and sport and show the world the New Mexico is the land of hope, vision, opportunity and pride.
