Taking Care of Business Night, presented by PNC Bank, certainly lived up to its name last night as the County Boys took care of business in a 2-0 victory over Phoenix Rising FC at Championship Stadium in the City of Irvine. Three points in the Bank makes the 𝐏layoffs 𝐍ow 𝐂loser as we head into the final five matches of the regular season. 🍊 We were joined pregame by our friends from the School of Rock Santa Ana for another phenomenal pre-match concert in our Fan Zone. Our thanks to SOR Santa Ana for rockin' the County! The Black and Orange got on the scoresheet early with a Titan-ic set-piece goal in the seventh minute that made Tuffy and our friends California State University, Fullerton proud. Midfielder Seth Casiple whipped a free kick off the right into the box that Zubak rose above the crowd to nod home, and OCSC led 1-0 early. Zubak added his second in the 39th minute after #NextWave forward Bryce Jamison dribbled past the Phoenix defense on the right-hand side of the pitch and played a low cross more beautiful than a plate of Gnarly Nachos from Taqueria Hoy! into the six-yard box that Zubak got on the end of to tap home for a 2-0 lead. The future is looking bright for the Black and Orange. Good thing PNC Bank gave out those sweet co-branded glasses! Orange County SC will return to Championship Stadium on Wednesday, October 9 when they face Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on California Classic Night, presented by the Orange County Power Authority. A limited number of tickets still remain, grab yours here! 🔗 bit.ly/47PYGHp

Orange County SC returned to winning ways at City of Irvine’s Championship Stadium in a thrilling 1-0 victory over Rhode Island FC on Local Heroes Night, presented by Hoag Health System on Saturday, September 14. Forward Bryce Jamison’s fifth goal of the year in the first half and a heroic shutout from Colin Shutler secured a massive three points. 🍊 Jamison found the game’s lone goal in the 31st minute after dribbling into the right side of the box and finishing into the bottom left corner to give OCSC the 1-0 lead. Shutler’s biggest save of his six-save night came off a Rhode Island set play in second-half stoppage time making a great reactionary save with his right hand to keep Rhode Island off the board and all three points for the County Boys, making him the Taqueria Hoy! Man of the Match. A special thank you to our friends at Hoag Health System, for providing 2,500 co-branded foam fingers for our fans. We were thrilled to honor and host doctors and nurses from Hoag as well as other local heroes from the U.S. Military, Orange County Fire Authority (fearlessly fighting the Airport Fire amongst other local fires), Irvine Police Department, and many more. The next chance for you to catch Bryce, Colin, and the rest of the County Boys is next Wednesday, September 25 as OCSC hosts Phoenix Rising FC on Taking Care of Business Night, presented by PNC Bank 🎟️ bit.ly/4eJ9GsH
