“It’s not enough to simply fix a door; these guys are friendly, warm, comforting presences and are able to engage in de-escalation techniques in the spaces they work in when the need arises. For instance, sometimes the maintenance work happens in people’s private rooms, and the resident may be experiencing paranoia.” Happy Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day! We depend on our amazing in-house team every day to keep our agency running smoothly. Read more on our blog: https://lnkd.in/gXfBmsBs #MaintenanceWorkerAppreciation #MentalHealthAgency

As a 2024 Gold Recipient of Mental Health America's Bell Seal Award for Workplace Mental Health, we are proud of the environment we're fostering for our team to thrive and grow in the behavioral health community. This year, we will continue to explore new options and opportunities to help our team members feel more appreciated and valued in our agency. We work hard to foster a culture of feedback and - most importantly - action based on that feedback. Stay tuned for updates! #WorkplaceWellness #WorkplaceHealth #DestinationWorkplace #GetIntoTheNarrative
