⭐ We're seeing stars! ⭐ It's an Awards Season #TeamTuesday salute to our I-35 Stormwater Storage Facility crew, who recently were awarded the American Public Works Association's Project of the Year in the Disaster or Emergency Construction/Repair $25-$75 million category! The team traded in their steel toes and hi-viz to collect their new hardware - and we have to say, they clean up pretty nice! A project of the size and scale of I-35 can only be successful when you bring together the strengths of different groups and you focus their talents on the best possible solution for the public. Hardhats off to our friends from Kraemer North America, Barr Engineering, Brierley Associates and our own fearless leader Lola Moussey, P.E. for a job well done. Let's run it back in 2025! #BuildOnUs #awards #projectoftheyear Luca Barison Thomas Pullen

Feelgood Friday News 💌 As you may know, last weekend here in Pittsburgh, our Pitt Panthers faced off against the Mountaineers of West Virginia in the Backyard Brawl. In honor of that long-standing rivalry, we thought we'd do a little brawl of our own - but to benefit Food Helpers. This friendly brawl was organized by Mountaineer Alum Mom Mary Ellen Large. The matchup was Engineers Vs Contractors with our friends from Langan and AGES. The Contractors came up with with the win this time with a whopping 1350 lbs of food collected. The Engineers came up with a respectable 350 lbs. That's 1700 lbs in total for local folks who are food insecure. In this competition, everyone is a winner! *Unlike the actual Backyard Brawl, in which Pitt said "country roads, take 'em home!" We'll be back next year, brawlin' for a good cause. Go Team(s)! #BuildOnUs #H2P #Mountaineers #countryroads #backyardbrawl

The Owl has Landed.... 🦉 The Major Projects crew is on the ground and getting ready to take a bite out of the Big Apple for the Gowanus Owls Head Project! You may recall that this project involves the construction of two combined sewer overflow tank in Brooklyn that will intercept and store up to 12 million gallons of combined sewage that would otherwise flow into Gowanus Canal in heavy rain events. Site mob started this week with the arrival of our first crane. Once we're fully mobbed, we'll be installing a 215,000 SF diaphragm wall to facilitate installation of a 4-million-gallon CSO storage tank. The diaphragm wall will provide the NYCDEP with a support of excavation system as well as a groundwater cutoff wall. 🦉 Who should stay tuned? You should stay tuned. 🦉 #BuildOnUs #SiteMob #OwlsHead #dwall #CSOConstruction #Cutoffwall #owlhumor

All aboaaaard! It's conference season! Next stop: AREMA in Louisville! 🚂 Railway friends, as they say in the Bluegrass State, it feels like we haven't seen you in a month of Sundays - but that's all about to change next week when we're reunited in the Derby City! Drop by to see the crew at booth #303 and talk all things railways, including this very photogenic - and very remote - project we worked on with our sister company, Soletanche Bachy Canada, for CN Rail. 👇🏻 Until then, we'll be practicing our pronunciation of Lou-uh-Vull. See ya'll there! #BuildOnUs #Seeyallsoon #Railway #conferenceseason

September 11th, 2001 If you are old enough to remember that day, you remember the feelings of confusion, panic, disbelief and unbelievable sadness that came to us all in rapid succession on that sunny September morning. It was a day that changed everything and all of us - forever. But, in the days and months that followed, you may also remember how we came together as a country to mourn, to collectively feel deep gratitude and respect for our first responders and the countless heroes of that dark day - and to feel immense pride in being Americans. That sunny day in September showed us that in our darkest times, the way forward is, and always will be, together. E Pluribus Unum #BuildOnUs
