Kicking off 2025 What an incredible year we had. Nift helped tens of millions of people try a brand they didn’t know before, generated tens of millions of dollars in passive income for great partners like Ticketmaster, Afterpay, GasBuddy, and Tinder, and was ranked 109th on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 reflecting our incredible 10X growth in just 3 years. We did all this while remaining profitable — a rare accomplishment that’s a true testament to our team’s effort. I couldn’t be more grateful and proud. As 2025 begins, our team is continuously asking what is truly the upper bound of our growth rate and impact. To us, it always starts with our customer. When you relentlessly focus on your customers, your customers will make your business thrive sustainably. The question we always need to answer is “what new value are we delivering to our users?” This year, we decided to invest heavily in 4 initiatives that have an impact on our consumer: New verticals: With Nift, every new vertical we open creates a force multiplier, amplifying the value we generate for users. We are focused on verticals that will bring value to the consumer despite challenging unit economics. Emerging brands: People love getting introduced to new, unique brands they've never heard of before. By offering gifts that are higher in value and better for consumers, up-and-coming brands use Nift to break through and get noticed in ways that simply aren't economically feasible in other channels. Restaurants: We have many different types of businesses on Nift, from gyms to beauty salons. But restaurants stand out. Consumers really love restaurants. Restaurants love new consumers that live close by. We have thousands of restaurants on Nift. Our growing team focused on restaurant groups having 25+ locations works to deliver value to the restaurant and user at scale. Better matching: When you get your Nift gift, we do our best to match you with the right options. Every user gets to select from 6-10 categories picked specifically for them. If they don’t like what they get, they can get other options. This year we are doubling down on our data science - the magic behind Nift’s matching. With scaled revenue, making direction adjustments while maintaining growth is hard. Making all these changes simultaneously is even harder. Luckily, we have an unbelievable team, who are empowered to make decisions on their own. They have to juggle long term direction changes, test and learn initiatives, and deliver short term results. I'm proud of our team and what we have accomplished in 2024. As we start out 2025, we’re reminded, startups are an endurance sport.
